Emilee is the founder of WCD Agricultural Management, an agriculture consulting and online course business.
Emilee is a passionate agriculture advocate who grew up as a 4th generation farmer. She is the creator of a virtual interview video series called “Grow Your Own Thriving Farm Series” as well as a previous series called the Agriculture Ownership Success Series. While working full-time at the local rodeo arena and event center, she runs her consulting business WCD Agricultural Management. She consults with land owners/farmers/ranchers and those aspiring to own land or grow their own food. Mentoring interns who work in her business each semester gives her the chance to give back and grow our future leaders.
Speaking to all ages about advocating for agriculture, the importance of agriculture in our world, and leadership has also been a great blessing. Some would say she is a women of all trades! She enjoys having a hat full of skills and talents allowing her to do many things from agriculture, to office work, to house work, to training horses, to working with equipment, and the list goes on. Being a mom to four legged goats and horses fills her world with joy. When not working she enjoys time with family and friends, being apart of the National Cattlewomen and Texas Cattlewomen organizations, TSCRA, training horses, working cattle, working towards future plans, and serving others.
Emilee has spent her life around agriculture and loves protecting our animals and land so that they will be around for generations to come. From a young age, growing up on a farm, she knew her life would revolve around agriculture. She graduated from Texas A&M University in animal production and meat science, has worked managing ranches, doctoring cattle in feed yards, caring for pigs, working with cutting horse trainers, working at vet clinics, managing land/planting crops, maintaining and driving equipment, and many other areas of ag.
Agriculture is the backbone of our world, of the USA. Without it we would not survive. Emilee is blessed to be an educator and protector of God’s Land and Creatures.
